If anyone has ordered the new Fish disc from the States, has yours taken an unusually long time to ship? I got a statement a couple of weeks ago that mine has shipped, but I've yet to receive it.

Hi E-Dub. You won't have recived the disc yet as they only arrived for distribution on 5th September.  The Fish forum says by the end of this week all orders placed in August will have shipped out. I got mine yesterday and I promise you it is worth the wait- this is IMO (and it seems many others) one of the best albums of his career and that includes the Marillion stuff.

Fish has posted on the Marillion forum a few times (a brave man!!). He addressed some guy who did a complete hatchet job on Fish's voice, his performance style/jokes, his weight- the lot- on a thread. That Marillion forum seems to bring out the worst in some people, IMHO- the 'Fish v H-era' crap is just unbelievable.

I'll be buying the new album in a few weeks. I'm going to see him here in Cardiff and I understand he's selling the album on his merchandising stall.

The pre-order folk in the UK recieved theirs yesterday, I believe that all the overseas send outs went out also on Wednesday, so you shouldn't have long to wait Eric!
(I also heard that there was a problem with "your order has been dispatched" type e-mails going out too soon)

It is definitely a gem worth wating for!

Thanks, OC. I re-read my order confirmation and it read 'your order WILL ship', so I resided to the fact that it hadn't gone out yet. I'm fine with that and just looking forward to getting it. Being an art geek, I'm looking forward to seeing the packaging of the deluxe edition.
