From Chile, PRISMA-X – solid jazz-prog, very dynamic with patent hints to LTE and Tribal Tech, as well as contemporary jazz-rock with an atttitude. A few tracks at Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/prismax
A couple of videos at Youtube: http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=AUgP6FS01t8 / http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=tqp_6klrwzo Their "Instantes" album has been released in 2006 and they really deserve an entry here. Kind regards.

So, how do you like them? Any reactions from the jazz/prog team yet? Last week I got my copy from Chile. This band is really jazz-prog rock: they take the jazzy side of LTE, mix it with influences from modern jazz-rock (CAB, Tribal Tech, 90s Holdsworth), and instill a few symphonic tricks in places. Their "Instantes" album is just excellent, too good to be left out of PA for much longer...
Kind regards.

So... let me ask you once again. How do you like PRISMA-X for the Archives? This is a band that I honestly think should grace the set of jazz-rock bands in PA. Kind regards. |

Oh boy, it's so sad to see a thread where only the person who suggested the band is talking (for himself) - especially a person like Cesar.
I'm positive, however, that I announced the Jazz-Rock Team about Prisma-X, not sure why they didn't answered so far. Let's try it again, with Prisma-X. |

Sorry for the late answer Cesar,
I've put Prisma-X on the JR/F team list and put the band on my playlist!
PS If you other proposals better post them directly on the team thread.
PS 2 I found a blog about Chile Rock and Jazz Rock bands . Ca you recommend some of these bands?

Good news from the jazz-Team (or, at least, from Alucard), Prisma-X shall be added.

Why are there no team threads for us little folk (non-collabs) to post too? If I want to recommend a jazz/fusion band, why can't I too post the request on a thread dedicated to that team?

Dalt, collaborators usually communicate between themselves, meaning they announce teams of a suggestion with the Collaborators Zone, that's the whole point. Cesar Inca - along avestin, andrea or Erik himself - use to suggest a new band up here. A "team thread" in the main forum would be okay, but it would either replicate the same business that's going in the Collaborators Zone, either it would be a very quick place for people to suggest new bands. |
