Does anyone know if that`s actually JM s dog there on the cover on his Thieves and Poets album? I couldn`t find a credit on the insert.

I can confirm that it is in fact a dog, but that's it.

I'm sorry, you are wrong.  It is in fact a man in a very clever dog disguise.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I just don`t understand why John would get a guy to dress up as a dog for his album cover. Couldn`t he just borrow a friend`s dog ?

I think that John is duping us here. If he makes a CD cover with a dog on it I think that he should at least be honest and tell us whether or not it is a real dog or a guy dressed up to look like a dog or a human that looks like a dog. What he should have done if he didn`t have a dog or a friend`s dog and the SPCA wouldn`t lend him a dog he could of drawn a dog in where the dog was supposed to be. I showed the picture to one of my dogs and from the reaction I don`t think it is a real dog. I hope that if he puts a dog on any of his future CD covers he`ll get a real one and not some cheap pseudo-dog.
