It's essentially the solo project of Anneke van Giersbergen (former singer of The Gathering). The album was released a few months ago and is a bit more accessible than the latest The Gathering albums, but also a bit closer to Post Rock, and the Metal elements are completely gone. I think it would make a good addition to the archives, probably in the Crossover Prog category because of its accessibility.

As for the metal elements: check out Feedforward some time, and compare them to The Gathering.
