At the end of feabraury 2008 will be available the new Hostsonaten album entitled 'Winterthrough'.
 
That's the songs titles unite in a long instrumental suite of nearly 46 minutes
 
ENTERING THE HALLS OF WINTER
RED SKY
WHITE EARTH
SNOWSTORM
OVER THE PLAIN
THE CRYSTAL LIGHT
OUTSIDE
RUINS
THROUGH WINTER'S AIR
RAINSUITE:
i. Prelude
ii. New year's theme
iii. Winter's end
iv. Celebration / To the open fields...
 
The musicians involved in the project are:
 
Fabio Zuffanti (bass, acoustic guitars, bass pedals)
Alessandro Corvaglia (mellotron, moog, etc..)
Maurizio Di tollo (drums, percussion)
Edmondo Romano (saxes, clarinet, brass, etc..)
Roberto Vigo (grand piano, organ)
Matteo Nahum (lead guitar)

''Winterthrough' is the 3rd section of SeasonCycle Suite, a musical celebration in four movements of seasons' power and follow 'Springsong' (4th part). The other parts will be 'Summereve' (1st), 'Autumnsymphony' (2nd).
  
The album will be available on beautiful vinly replica + booklet on AMS/VM2000 label (distribution BTF)

The music sounds very impressive, from an atmospheric standpoint. I like it!
