PORCUPINE TREE Announce Australian Live Dates

Posted on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 09:33:55 EST

PORCUPINE TREE have confirmed their first ever live concerts in Australia in April:

April
25 - Melbourne, Australia - The Metro
26 - Sydney, Australia - The Enmore
27 - Brisbane, Australia - The Tivoli

Tickets are available here.

The Nil Recurring mini album, previously only available through the Porcupine TRee store and at the band's shows, will be given a full release on Peaceville Records on February 18th. The new edition will differ only in that it comes in a crystal case rather than a digipack. The mini-album (29 minutes of music) was written during Porcupine Tree's Fear Of A Blank Planet sessions, completed over the Summer of 2007, and is now presented as a cohesive, self-contained Porcupine Tree work in its own right.

just tried to get tickets through Ticketec and they know about the tour but they have not had confirmation from the tour organiser yet to release the tickets. Just have to keep checking up with Ticketec unless there is another way to get tickets.

By all means, sell the sofa if you must but don't miss PT in person.  They kick ass.

ATTENTION AUSTRALIA!!

DO NOT MISS PORCUPINE TREE!

They are without a doubt one of greatest prog groups on earth today. Their live performances are totally mind blowing experiences, that will leave you breathless, in awe, completely satisfied, and panting for more! Take it  from an old prog-head like me, who's has seen many groups in concert since the hey-day of the 70's. They are in my top 5.

By the way, so much for the 2008 hiatus  I suppose.

You Aussie's are lucky because I can bet that the group will play some tunes from their catalog that have sat on a dusty shelf for
many years.

Again, do not hesitate! Enjoy!

The link on their (PT's) site takes you to Ticketek but there's still no mention of them there today even after a search. What gives?? I'd dearly love to be able to get to this gig but need to see prices so I can work out if I can afford it! Confused (Of course, if they were coming to Adelaide, it wouldn't be a problem, but...)
