I searched, and came up with nothing.  I apologize if he has been suggested before.

I'm not sure what exactly he would fit under, unfortunately.  The music is entirely electronic, but I don't really see any connections to others of the genre.  Often labeled Breakcore (Don't stop reading now), the music is an incredibly eratic form or electronic music, filled with odd styles and time signatures.

Thoughts?

I'm disappointed - neither of these players are avant-garde!

Al di Meola.

I'm quite a fan of Venetian Snares and numerous other projects Aaron Funk collaborates with. I think he falls under what some coin as progressive electronica, which encompasses a whole range of electronic works from Drum n' bass to techtechno which utilise shifting meters. Unfortunately as innovative and progressive these works can be, they have little to do with rock, which is this sites main focus. A very impressive musician tho' which any opened minded individual should check out.

yeah, he was pretty much my entry into electronica I hadn't heard anything like his album Rossz Csillag Allat Szuletett before, the intense drum n' bass topped off with the sampled classical imitations was mind blowing. Set me down some dangerous paths tho'.

Rossz Csillag Allat Szuletett is one of my favorite albums now.

Well, maybe someone will read this thread and decide to check him out.
