Economic digital microphone for keyboards?

Hi, I currently record with a cheap $5 digital microphone for my instrumental music. It sounds much better and fuller than slightly more expensive digital chatting microphones. Things I recorded with this crappy mic are in www.myspace.com/hernysmusica

So, I've seen a friend of a friend a while ago with a microphone he claimed cost $40 and the sound quality was quite clear and acceptable for me.

Are there any mics that you just plug in your computer that are decent enough?
