Who doesn't like Clint! The man is friggin cool.  And even though his score for Mystic River totally ripped off Debussy, he's still a good guy.  Acting, directing, writing, composing, the guy does it all!

He's been in and directed so many movies too.  I'll list the slightly more common films, but leave an option for other in case there is someone that does prefer something else.  So go for it! Pick your favorite movie that Mr. Clint Eastwood was in or directed or both at once!

I love Eastwood,and it is extremely hard to pick a favorite from his large,impressive body of work.
 
As far as favorite movie as an actor,I love High Plains Drifter(the best movie in the Man With No Name trilogy imo,and a creepy movie to boot) and The Outlaw Josey Wales.
 
From his directorial work it has to be Unforgiven and Letters from Iwo Jima and it's companion piece Flags of Our Fathers.

Well as you've not included one of my favorite pieces of understated acting from him ("Absolute Power"), I've gone for Unforgiven - one of my top 20 movies of all time (and I don't like Westerns).

Agreed - both emotionally charged pieces; same conflict, different perspective ('Letters' making the Japanese army human for a change, rather than facelessly merciless stereotypes).

I picked "Play Misty for Me", his first movie. an excellent thriller about a fatal obsession. I believe it served as role model for many later thrillers

Can't beat THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY, Clint so cool.....in the most recent era, i do like a lot ABSOLUTE POWER.......but i like almost all his movies.....i mean i grew up watching him from the 60s to now......my favorite actorThumbs%20Up
