One for the symphonic crew to check out here in my opinion (as if they haven't got enough already...)

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Symphonic with more than a hint of metal in parts.

Love it!

Port Mahadia - Echoes in Time: Totally switching gears, Port Mahadia is a great new progressive rock band that proves that the genre is not dead by any means. They incorporate a bunch of string instruments, including violin, to make them sound a lot like really good Electric Light Orchestra and Kansas. In fact, a member of Kansas appears on track 8! A fantastic concept album, with some real gems, check this out if you like any of ELO or Kansas’ stuff, or if you’re into prog rock along the lines of Rush and Dream Theater.
