A reviewer misplaced his (possible) correction in the reviews section:

 I just bought this record yesterday and cannot, therefore, make a real description or give my opinion ( but I must rate it, so I put its current rating for no change) . He was in a bad state (a pocket surrounded the devat paper and cardboard stuck in a very pretty water dammadge), but my friend, and I, have spent a lot of time cleaning it, and now it is almost like new (if it fails mold)). Fortunately vinyl inside has been protected and is in good condition.
But, it seems to me that this record was made in 1973, not 1974 no ? I may be wrong, in which case my first appearance on this site is a bit shameful, but who knows... Someone may check?

	On Faust-Pages it's stated that it was recorded in 1973 and released in 1974.

	My brain had only memorized the 73' . What a shame. Finally, that's why I'm a newbie. But, now I know, and that's why I think this web-site is great ! Thank.

	doesn't mean it's correct though. I know it was released after Tubular Bells from Mike Oldfield (which was early 73), but different sources contradict on the precise date of release. I don't have the LP anymore, so I can't check it, but for me it was 73. So please let someone who has the album (vinyl) check it for my cd states 74, but I'm not sure if it's really correct. some members appeared on the 72 Slapp Happy album (72) which was about the same time of some other works, (the Faust Tapes) and I know they were disbanded from their former record compagny, so they signed with Virgin Records, which was shortly after the release of tubular bells. maybe that caused a delay in their works (or other projects delayed it). so let's check for precise date's. Like Tuzvizar mentioned it's likely it's recorded in73 and released in 74, but I'm not convinced. checked and double checked. It's best to leave it at 1974, though some sources contradict, I believe the release date was pushed back to september 1974. http://www.faust-pages.com/records/faustiv.html also notice how the sampler cover mentiones 1973 also, but the rest all mention 1974 Edited by tuxon - April 13 2008 at 05:56
