Mastermind was part of the original next wave of progressive rock in the early 90's and was largely responsible for the founding of some of those early labels. They've continued to make music and tour on their own and with artists such as Fish. They have now made their entire catalog available on Mindawn, including some unreleased material, with more coming. They even have a new album that is about ready to get released. An interesting thing about Mastermind is how much some of their material sounded like ELP even though they had no keyboardist.

You can check it all out at http://mindawn.com/artists/mastermind

Interesting - regards to Bill Berends and ask him when Jens will be back for the third Mastermind album with keyboards. The Mahavishnu meets ELP  on Excelsior! was the band at the top of their form.
The best eclectic music on the Web,8-11pm BST/GMT THURS.

I've actually heard the new album and it isn't that style but Bill said he needed to 'get it out of his system' and for the next one he'd be doing something new again.  He also said he'd be posting some other, never before released material on Mindawn.
