I used to buy almost everymonth, for there were at least one or two articles I liked and two more that seemed correct, but lately, I've bought the rag every four months or so. Always the same bad groups featured, it's a bit sickening

 

 

While it's true that they do look up to prog, I haven't been able to forgive their short-sightedness outside UK and US rock. There has been fewer articles about lesser known groups, too!!!

 

 

And since that time of poor journalism started with those lists, the porno adds and pink telephone adds have appeared in the adds section past the merchandising and CD retailers, >>> real classy

So the wife won't suspect that this sort of stuff would be in a music mag ? Bonus !

For the casual reader that is only exposed to North American music media (Rolling Stone, Spin, Blender et al), it does a good job. But then I get to read it at Chapters bookstore once every two months. (it costs $15)
