Are Tourniquet Prog metal or extreme technical prog or even prog related?

I have been listening to them lately and it sparked my intrigue cuz they use many progressive elements, time changes, concepts, effects, very structured technical thrash.

They were labelled Progressivemetal on wikipedia lists of metal bands

   Tourniquet (Thrash metal/Progressive metal)[24]

Wikipedia has this description:

Tourniquet is a Christian thrash / heavy metal band that was formed in 1989 by Ted Kirkpatrick, Guy Ritter and Gary Lenaire in Los Angeles, California, USA. They are known for incorporating elements of thrash, neo-classical and progressive metal into their music. They have achieved 6 GMA Dove Award nominations and won multiple recognitions from the readers of HM Magazine, including "Favorite Band of the 1990s" and "Favorite Album of the 1990s" (Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance). They have released 7 studio albums, a compilation album, EP, acoustic album, 5 VHS releases and 3 DVDs. They have sold more than 300,000 albums.[1] Tourniquet is known for its distinct, individual style. One of the band's trademarks is the incorporation of classical music into their guitar riffs. They are also known for using medical terminology in their lyrics.

From the reviews I´ve read on Metal Archives it seems that Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance is their most progressive effort. We need some album recommendations as they´ve made lots of albums and we don´t have time to listen to them all and God forbid ( Pun intended) we should listen to the wrong album before giving our votes.

I absolutely think Tourniquet should be on the site, especially for their later work such as Microscopic View of a Telescopic Realm (quite a pretentious title, lol)
Take me down, to the underground
Won't you take me down, to the underground
Why oh why, there is no light
And if I can't sleep, can you hold my life
