topic reply notifications: why only some?

This is weird.  It used to be that if I subscribed to a thread, I got notice of every succeeding post to the thread.  This is going on for a while now, probably many months to even half-a-year.  Sorry, I can't say how long since my mind has been on other things.

I subscribe, regularly and always, to the RPI appreciation thread; also I set it up so I automatically subscribe to any topic I start.  The 'bug': What typically happens now is that I'll get, in my Yahoo email, a topic reply notification from a subscribed thread - only to follow the link and find there are a bunch of other replies I was never notified of.

This didn't used to happen before the change in the site's appearance, if that's any help.

While I'm at it - and perhaps this is related to the above bug - I can tell you that my "Posts" count of 687 is just wrong.  I remember breaking 1,000 in 2009 or maybe early 2010.

	Why must my spell-checker continually underline the word "prog"?
