sort of fits the overall theme of the composition. Pictures at an Exhibition.  Each has it's own theme, and melody and were tied together with various several of Promenade.

I love the album... adore it actually..  but consider The Gnome to be completely different from... say...  the Curse of the Baba Yaga. Same album, some classicial piece different 'songs' in the rock 'adaptation' LOL of Mussrorgsky's composition.
