Hello this from my friends Mark and Rayna who are hosting us at their home near Chicago:

An intimate evening with Phideaux Xavier and Valerie Gracious who will sing some of their songs from Phideaux as well as previous bands they've been in. They will tell stories, answer questions and probably ask for a sip of your wine as they "never drink and only want a sip for the taste". They will take requests, but don't guarantee they can pull off every song from the repertoire. They will also bring some works in progress from the new album for you to listen to, and in general enjoy the comradeship of music lovers

The show will be at Rayna's and my house so the event is limited and by invitation only.

Do you know us?....ask for an invite?
Do you want to come and don't know us...get to know us.
[Edit, contact them thru info below or PM me here]

thank you!  I guess Brasil is a bit far!  I'll do a living room gig in the southern hemisphere whenever someone wants to invite me!!!  (My brazilian nieces could accompany me and translate into Portuguese!)

Wow, seeing you live would be a wonderful experience on the very least! And (not trying to derail the thread), but you do have family around here?

How do I get an invite? I'd love to take a drive down to Chicago and listen to some tunes with some good people :)

radioswim, send me a pm and I'll give you the info.  And CCVP, I don't have family around you, but my brother's wife has relatives in Brasil (I think an Aunt lives there)

I'm more distant than CCVP, but I take the opportunity to tell you that Phideaux is one of the best things that I've discovered thanks to PA. Doomsday Afternoon is in my top 10 with things like Close To The Edge and Meddle.
Curiosity killed a cat, Schroedinger only half.

Octopus-4 - thanks for the encouragement!  It means a lot.  This show will be funny, because it's a fairly stripped down thing, where the essential "song" is what will be presented (and we'll answer questions and generally have a casual good time...)

You should come!  Italy isn't thaaaat far!  (or invite us for a living room show in Italia!)
