This had turned out very surprising for me.

Megadeth won and Sepultura came on second, I certainly thought Pantera would do better. So I thought I'll post a video from the winning band, just sharing what I like.

And another killer one...

Deth despite Dave's horrible voice

I love "Peace Sells but Who's Buying" but the 2 early Sepultura classics "Beneath the Remains" & "Arise" are unbeatable Evil Smile

Not surprising really - they could have been huge following Draconian Times, but they chose to go the Gothic Rock/Synth Rock route with the next three albums which essentially killed any chance of Heavy Metal stardom ... what they did was still very good IMO (One Second especially), but it was just not Metal. Their last three albums have got them back in their Gothic/Doom Metal stride.

Listening again to 'One Second' a few months ago, I had to sell the bl**dy thing since it reveals the utter simplicity path they chose (had?) to follow after Draconian Times. Seeing them live a few years ago just confirmed the downward path they have taken in terms of musical quality (IMO). Even their new albums sound so empty and boring... nothing to do with the 'metal' tag if you ask me.
