I sent this to submissions email as well, but better send it here as well,

the best way to introduce them is to listen to them so here goes:

All the albums are available on bandcamp and on the tube,

Why I think “Backnee Horn” should be included?

Coming from Central Israel, "Backnee Horn" provides the most eclectic blend of styles in their music, may it be Droney, Jammy, Tribal, Improvisational and Trippy is what comes to mind when listening to them and one can’t tell at the end of a piece how one got there.
I also think it’s quite a unique experience in terms of sounds than most of today range of sounds coming from the eclectic / psychedelic / stoner section, contributed very much by the unique language that Rudy J the Drummer and Vocalist invented to be less intrusive during the different pieces.

Biography

"Backnee Horn" was established in 2006. Band members were, Rudi J on drums and vocals, Yevgeny Kushnir on guitars, and Shimon Afriat on bass guitar and keys. Later on, Zohar Cohen joined the band with his mellotrons, and in the middle of 2009 the band released its 1st album – "Backnee Horn". Shimon Afriat moved on to other projects, and the band continued working. Alex Furman joined Backnee Horn on keys and other technological gadgets, and [e]Rogi Niniart, on synthesizers and bass guitar.

The 2nd album – “Backnee Horn II”, was a double CD released on 2011 with a double vinyl released on January 2012. "Backnee Horn II" includes material that is more extreme than in the 1st. Yevgeny Kushnir and Zohar Cohen moved on, and the band, Rudi J, [e]Rogi Niniart and Alex Furman, continue working and recording together in their private-analogue-studio, “Head-Lee”.

"Backnee Horn III", a triple album, was digitally released on November 2012 followed by a triple vinyl album released in November 2012.

"Backnee Horn"'s music manifests extremely borderless inspirations.

Just listened to the youtube clip, and that is seriously good! (somehow I knew it would be even before hearing it)  I haven't often listened to music on bandcamp, but in this case I plan to.

Hello.
Not been tossed to any Team yet, sorry.

I've listened to their 3rd album via Bandcamp. Too experimental / ambient / electronica for Psych, and reminds me something like similar to Ya Ho Wha 13, Semool ...

Tossed to Krautrock Team. Thanks!

a bunch of songs to enter ... and the experimental approach on top of it - this takes time ... Wink

now firstly - as for my private sentiment - the kraut tinged psychedelic debut knocks my socks off really, outstanding Bowdown
the following albums ... are way too strange though according to my taste

technically seen - while trying to take it with objective approach - except the debut I have problems to file this extreme avantgarde stuff under the progressive rock term

Hi Rivertree, Thanks for your input i'm glad you liked the debut, this group is experimenting, not all things in experiment are accepted by society as they roll out but at the very least they should appear here, as a fellow kraut lover surely you understand that, so if i understood you correctly you will clear them it just takes time to do so?
