no, I am just trying to say, they're nothing special, to me they suck and I have no power to put down any band, it's just an opinion

To me, it's just better to say you don't like a band than to say 'they suck,' but do what you want, I'm not trying to persuade you, I'm just pointing out that there are more tactful ways of going about expressing your opinion.

Genesis is one of the greatest prog band the world has ever seen...and that alone automatically qualifies them to b one of the most influential.,
If the members of one later band doesn't testify to the fact that they were influenced by one early band..that doesn't automatically mean that they were not..
Imagine any rock band that came out in the past 40 yrs saying that they were not infulenced by The Beatles atleast in some way...

Dnt know how it could ever b quantified...but what's true-stays true..50 years from now people wud still be looking up to Genesis and say WOW!

On the famous "6 bob tour" VdGG were the ones at the back of the tour bus taking acid, lindisfarne were in the middle drinking booze, and Genesis were at the front of the bus filling in their colouring books. says it all really Smile
