Topic: Hello Fellow Proggies! Posted: August 03 2014 at 08:34 |
Hello all! Wonderful site and forum! I decided to finally join after lurking for long enough .
Some of my personal favorite bands/artist are: Yes Frank Zappa Gentle Giant Return to Forever Camel Genesis King Crimson VGG Gorguts Death Pestilence Atheist Cynic
I'm a musician myself, and have played in a variety of rock, metal, and fusion-rock projects. Taking a break to pursue other avenues for a bit, but I love me some discussion! I'm currently residing in New Hampshire, US. I'm actually also the webmaster for the official PESTILENCE (NL) website, as well as all of Patrick Mameli's other projects (Neuromorph is his upcoming endeavor).
I look forward to having many a great discussion with all of you!

Thank you my friend! Awesome avatar, btw. My father is a Who fanatic! He also got to see Yes live on the CTE tour, of which I'm quite envious .

Welcome. Wonderful MtG avatar there.
Interesting seeing the mixture of classic bands and modern metal. Ever try mixing them?
Maybe Riverside would be a cool place to start for a recommendation from the forum. I'd start with either Anno Domino High Definition or Second Life Syndrome.
Cheers!

That is some eclectic mix you got there - Zappa to Pestilence.
No-one can lurk for long enough, they eventually join

Welcome! |
I know, right? Zappa is my man, and Pestilence "Spheres" is personally one of my most influential records ever. I purchased a ROLAND GR-55 guitar synth entirely due to that album! Patrick Mameli is a very good friend of mine; we talk on the daily.
Thank you for your kind words, my friend!
