Not even close to circus music Tongue

I'd name Civic Circus by Univers Zero:

But it's a very dark kind of circus, something you'd expect in a horror movie Smile

From the absolutely classic music manifesto of the Tropicalismo movement (that could be in progarchives at the "Various Artists" modality, actually...)
- From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.

I write this post for the benefit of Mr. Kite:

Disc 1 of the Flower Kings' Stardust We Are is loaded with circus music, including "Just This One," "Crying Clown," and the already mentioned "Circus Brimstone." And little snippets of circus music turn up in other parts of their discography.

Miriodor's "Jongleries Elastiques" album is built around circus/carnival music - it's great fun.

Farmers Market's fusion of Klezmer-type music with rock and jazz often takes on a circus-like tone.

"Poisoned Youth" from shamelessly underrated "Garden Shed" lp (1977) by England.
