Hi, Anyone from the Eclectic Team got any views on where to locate The Emerald Dawn within Progarchives? Cheers, Ally

I have the CD on order, so it will find a home, just sometimes the labels are a little sticky Embarrassed

Thanks, Tszirmay. It seems to me that The Emerald Dawn are clearly symphonic prog (and arguably eclectic prog as well), but the Progarchives Symphonic Prog team don't agree!
Cheers,

Ally from The Emerald Dawn

I wouldn't worry too much about sub-vice-mini labeling!
ITS PROG! Pretty good prog too, IMHO Wink

Don't take the down vote from Symph as a rejection Ally. We want it here but just need to find the right home. I actually think that difficulty in nailing down a specific sub-genre speaks highly of the music. Smile

Caught this on progstreaming. Fascinating stuff. Sounds like eclectic or folk prog to me, not symphonic. On a side note to the band, please offer digital downloads for a reasonable price, that's what bandcamp is for.

I have been listening to it for the last 3 days and i have a lulu review in the hopper. Haunting, spectral and plain delicious is where I sit right now. Truth is that it is hard to categorize as it spans a wide spectrum of style from slightly gothic, psychedelic, symphonic and folk.
Soon......
