Credits to Rednight and Saperlipopette!
It's about the one you like better. No 'both' or 'none' options.

Love the reggae-prog! The ELO track is not one of my faves.

I wouldn't call either prog and I am not fond of these two songs, but I think Dreadlock Holiday is the better of these two.

Dreadlock Holiday is funny, clever and sounds great.

The ELO track is good but not one of their very best.

ELO!!
Kinda indifferent to that 10cc track, but I've always loved that ELO hit.

ELO should win any poll against 10CC IMO. Very few 10CC songs match the musical genius of Jeff Lynne IMO.

A GREAT YEAR FOR PROG!!!

I generally respect your opinion but that is a load of nonsense quite frankly

Dreadlock Holiday. 10cc produced a load of great singles (and albums) but this was a step down, an insipid bit of cod reggae. It was a huge hit though, so I suppose you can't argue with that. Jeff Lynn's biggest musical crime was the Travelling Wilburys production sound that he even inflicted on the Beatles.

Edit: Oops, just noticed I didn't read this properly and thought it was about which track was the worst, hence my vote for Dreadlock Holiday which I don't like. Note to self: do try to keep up Cactus!

Thanks, irrelevant. And as bad as Dreadlock' may be, it still was a nod towards 10cc's versatility and talent.

I think this poll just brought me down. Just kidding, I'll go with ELO for the cheese factor. Tongue

LOL
Well..imo they are both kind of cheesy but I like the early ELO albums better than the early 10CC ones.
The later ones are mediocre by both bands.

ELO by a mile.

Cod reggae is inexcusable. Legit reggae is bad enough...

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

I have to agree with that. It's on the list of songs I go out of my way to avoid, along with "A land down under" and various others.

10cc, Dreadlock Holiday.

For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
