his upcoming release “2014 Music From An Expanded Universe” to be released October 30th 2014 “ http://mrrmusic.com/album/2014-music-from-an-expanded-universe/" rel="nofollow - 2014 Music From An Expanded Universe ” is an instrumental EP featuring five new tracks: Track Listing Irreverence Part I The 2014 Microcosm Blood Like Red Irreverence Part II Cinemania - Alive According to Leon Alavarado: “I like to see myself as a composer of music that entices the mind and stimulate the senses. My music leans towards progressive but I dabble in various genres. I like the idea of using music as a vehicle to free our imagination. I have recorded with ex-Yes alumni, Bill Bruford, Billy Sherwood and Rick Wakeman as well as John Goodsall (Brand X) and Ty Tabor (King's X)”. Leon self released his first solo album “Plays Genesis And Other Stuff’ in 2009 and returned with a self released EP “Strangers in A Strange Place” in 2010 When Leon is not composing and recording music he is working on artwork, Leon is probably best known as a graphic artist and illustrator for bands like: Jethro Tull, Yes, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Jeff Beck, Roger Waters, Deep Purple and King's X among others.
