Sounds like it's definitely worth a shot in Post/Math Rock to my ears, but let's wait and see if Darryl (zravkapt) picks up on the suggestion...since this is his area of expertise, and certainly not mine! I must stress, however, that The Post Rock/Math Rock team on PA is in need of some major help right now - with around 40 artists currently awaiting votes in its 'new' chart on progfreak...and around 50 previously cleared artists awaiting addition to the PA site itself. Things aren't moving very quickly there at all at the moment, so even if Darryl agrees this band is worthy of an evaluation, please don't hold your breath waiting for their page to appear on PA!!

^Thanks for pointing all that out. I'll look into this, be back 24-48 hours.

Some of them go back a fair while Darryl - http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=93747" rel="nofollow - MinionTV were cleared well over a year ago, similarly http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=94201" rel="nofollow - Portrait Of A Drowned Man and http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=91908" rel="nofollow - Red Room Cinema have been awaiting addition for about 10 months now. That's just three random samples I looked at from the 'cleared' list (which actually totals 68, not 50 - there is a page two, which I didn't spot yesterday. ) I think we need to make an appeal for any SCs with a few hours to spare to offer their services and help whittle this down a bit if it turns out that all those 68 cleared bands/artists definitely haven't yet been added to the site.

RE: Kristen...
I'm still going through their albums on Bandcamp. So far they sound post-y and sometimes math-y but also alt/indie at times too.
Still listening, I'll be back.

Thanks Darryl.
I'll collate all the cleared Post/Math bands that definitely haven't yet been added, and have threads in the New Suggestions forum, into a separate new thread in the 'Help us improve the site' part of the forum, with links to the original suggestion thread. Anyone who wants to help out by writing a bio for any of them can then do so - either in this new thread or the original suggestion thread. Hopefully some kind-hearted SCs will then use these bios to add the artists to the site for us, and then once done, anyone can add the albums to complete the entry. I'll do a few of them myself to set the ball rolling, and hopefully other members (eg the original suggesters) will then join in too.

Apparently they were added to ProgFreak almost a week ago; I put them in the Post chart. Can't guarantee an inclusion yet but we'll see what happens.

It'll take some time. Please be patient There are at least a dozen post/math artists who deserves to be added before Kristen, as they were suggested earlier on.

Almost nothing has been going on with my team for quite some time now. Things get a little busier during the holidays; they did last year anyway.

The team is pretty dead right now (but the suggestions keep coming in). We're trying to revive it. Trust me, you're not the only one who is wondering about a suggestion they made. Nothing is really being ignored as opposed to adding anyone is impracticable at the moment.

That was me I think, still need to post my evaluation of them in my team thread. I put this suggestion as one of the top priorities for the team (including our new member).

I appreciate your patience and thank you for bringing this specific case to my attention.
I listened a while ago and for some reason never voted. Made sure to listen to that first link again today - wonderful suggestion.
Thank you.

I was looking for info for a bio but I couldn't find much about them. Do you have any info I could use or want to write the bio yourself? Once I have a bio and a band photo I can add them quickly (credit will be given to whoever wrote the bio and the albums just need to be added).

If all else fails you could always try contacting them:
Members: Michał Biela (vocals, guitar), Łukasz Rychlicki (guitar), Mateusz Rychlicki (percussion), Konrad Smoleński (bass, 2003-06), Marcin Piekoszewski (percussion, 2002-03)
Discography: Kristen (2000) Stiff Upper Worlds (2002) Please Send Me A Card (2003) Night Store (2005) Western Lands (2010) An Accident (2011) The Secret Map (2014)
Also, some of the names didn't copy/paste well...I'll have to fix that. I'll start adding the albums tomorrow.
