Clocking in at a mere 33 minutes and 59 seconds, Haken's Restoration blew my mind. Darkest Light is an intense opener, Earthlings is a melodic masterpiece, and Crystallised could very well be the band's best epic yet. Oh, and the Mike Portnoy cameo was nice.

You've got to check it out.

Yes, I see many folks being very happy with it. I'll give it a try myself, as I've got a couple of their tracks from Progmag CD and I liked them

It truly is one epic journey. Btw I was wondering what is the story behind the Restoration EP cover art? http://www.insideoutmusicshop.com/media/catalog/product/cache/2/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/6/3/635454625735131945.jpg" rel="nofollow - http://www.insideoutmusicshop.com/media/catalog/product/cache/2/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/6/3/635454625735131945.jpg

Crystallized really makes the album. The first 2 fall a little flat with me. Especially when held up next to he Mountain.

I've only listened to Crystallised so far, and I'm not as impressed as I was with The Mountain. Still great though, and I definitely need to hear the whole thing.

I love how prog albums have gradually become longer and longer, and now an EP is practically what 70s bands would fit onto a record Smile
