Clocking in at a mere 33 minutes and 59 seconds, Haken's Restoration blew my mind. Darkest Light is an intense opener, Earthlings is a melodic masterpiece, and Crystallised could very well be the band's best epic yet. Oh, and the Mike Portnoy cameo was nice. You've got to check it out.

I've only listened to Crystallised so far, and I'm not as impressed as I was with The Mountain. Still great though, and I definitely need to hear the whole thing. I love how prog albums have gradually become longer and longer, and now an EP is practically what 70s bands would fit onto a record
