I have no idea which is what but, I love Pizza, and it has to be thin crust.  Thick crust isn't pizza in my book it's bread.

NY style all the way - though of course real Italian-style pizza (both Roman and Neapolitan) is the best of all.

Both. Choosing between two awesome things is pointless.

That being said, stone-baked crust is obviously superior in every way.

The crust is New Yorkish, but gyro meat, feta, and pepperoncini are excellent toppings...

with the real Greek Pizza the meat and feta are greek but the crust is borrowed from the Germans (at a horrendous interest rate).

As a native New Yorker and an Italian American, I wonder how surprising it is that as much as I enjoyed the pizza in Italy, I still think NY style is best.

One novelty I can't do is cornmeal crust--  I mean it's delicious but after two pieces I'm full for a week.

A vote for both. Both have their merits and are light years ahead of the St. Louis style pizza with it's cracker crust and provel cheese. Provel cheese equals a waste of good Cheddar,Swiss and American cheeses.

I once saw someone take a piece of KFC chicken (years ago when it was good) and wrap it up in a slice of NY style pizza and woof it down.

I wonder if he's still alive?

I'm surprised the voting isn't more equal..... where I live just south of Chicago we have thin crust, traditional crust (thicker than thin)  and deep dish. What exactly determines New York style....is it simply the crust or the way the toppings and sauce are made?
We have 2 local Italian chains-Aurelios and Gelsosomos - that make a thin/trad crust. Would that automatically be New York style...?

Eeew....that would get dust and lint and crap on the pizza.
So then the only real marker for NY style is a thin crust..?

^ Right--  New York style should be thin but foldable and a little bubbly at the edge, IMO.   The crispy flat cracker crust is not really NY

Then the thinner crust we have here in northwest Indiana where I live must be 'NY style' since it's foldable.
