Wow! I only just found out about this but I have ordered my tickets already.

Magma are playing the Cadogan Hall in Chelsea, London next May.

I've never been to the venue but it looks nice.  I believe it's quite new and is mainly a classical sort of place.

Hi,

I still find the concert I saw at the Progressive Music Festival in 1999 in SF, one of the very special concerts I have ever seen. They got a 10 minute standing ovation that had Christian in tears.

They're rumored to be touring North America next year.

They might be due for a west coast swing.  IIRC the last two times they came here it was on the east coast.

I have got tickets for Manchester - was surprised to see how many were snapped up already!  Be quick Magma fans.  It's also at the RNCM - great venue!

Its prog and Magma...what do you think? My wife comes to all my concerts, but this one would cost me a $200 dinner at Morton's Steakhouse before the show just to get her to come with me.....

LOL

The present Mrs Syzygy has been to precisely 1 Magma gig and has made it clear that I'll be on my own for this one.

My daughter is a huge Magma fan she's still pissed I didn't take her to RIO this year.

Though I won't be able to make it to London, I'll jump at any opportunity to see Magma again if they are really planning a US tour. Their show at  the French Embassy in September 2010 ranks as one of my best concert experiences ever.

I unfortunately had the miss the French Embassy gig as I was driving over from Cincinnati & I couldn't justify driving over consecutive weekends to see Magma & Univers Zero. Originally they were meant to play the same weekend.

My partner is coming with me to see them in Manchester.  Unlike myself, she is multi-lingual but that does not include Kobaian!

My wife is coming with me. She said she would much rather see Magma than Yes (who she has always refused to go and see with me)!

I wouldn't want to see Yes nowadays either!  Magma are a different proposition altogether and I can't wait to see them.
