Future Days just nudges Floyd. Obscured By Clouds is fantastic and so underrated, but it's still one of Floyd's lesser works, and it's going up against an in form Can.

Love both but Future Days is the better album. One of those that deserves 7 stars and an orgy. I'm guessing that Floyd will win this easily though, but that's because they're the Floyd.

Future Days, no contest with my least listened to Floyd (vs. my most listened to Can).

3 min of Future Days would win against the complete Obscured by Clouds album

not familiar with Can, and i only know a few songs from this particular Floyd album (the title track, When You're In, and Wot's...Uh the Deal?); the latter it is, then!

Voted for Can, but Wright's Farfisa leads in Absolutely Curtains are to die for....

Had Future Days long ago and didn't care for it. Love the highly underrated, non-polished Obscured By Clouds. PF in a landslide but I'm going to try FD again.

I will take any Pink Floyd over any Can any day.

Had to go for both as the Can album is just fantastic.

Clouds might be a lesser work in terms of significance a  in relation to their next release but it is still such a pure PF band album plenty of vox from the three who contributed vox and plenty of variety.

Anyway Burning Bridges so reflects my preferred pace of being... ;)

Dang it... Future Days is a more consistent album, but Clouds has a bit more unpredictable moments like "The Gold It's In The..." and "Free Four".

Hi,

FD ... the PF album looks like a left over and there is nothing really major and important there, that you "remember" the album by and for.

Not to mention that the film was not that good, and wasted various actors from teh Royal Shakespeare Company and from teh French equivalent as well. I have a feeling that the original film was way too stoned out and it had to be redone, or else it was vut up senselessly and lost its story and everything else. Pink Floyd allowing music for a film about the chase of feathers, is silly to say the least! Unless the polen from these feathers get you stoned ... there's got to be something in it! But the film is vacuous and boring and wastes its talent ... probably because there was no script is my guess! Likely just an idea that went south really quick because it was ... just an idea!

-------------
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
