From the eclectic conference we have one of the most important Polish bands of the seventies!!

From..ahh.. Poland.

SBB!!!!!

From the Krautrock conference we have one of the most dynamic and hard luck bands of the golden age.

From Germany

AMON DUUL II

Vegas oddmakers nearly took this one off the board but have installed ADII as a 30 vote favorite anticipating a rout LOL

Can't vote here. I really love Josef Skrzek (or how the hell is written) but ADII is one of the apostles of Krautrock

German prog always appeals to me. ADII are unique and influential and have a string of superb 70's albums so get my vote.

Yep, I have and love ADII's first five albums. I have the first three SBB albums and like those a lot, though. Józef Skrzek's Ojciec chrzestny Domnika is a great album.

ADII never clicked with me, at least they haven't yet.

SBB sounds like a band I can get really into, from the samples I've heard. There's where my vote goes. And hopefully I get my copy of Karlstad Live in the mail soon, so I can really start my SBB journey.

this one really surprised me...in a good way.. I really expected ADII to run away with this. (Again why I don't gamble with money. I'd have none left hahah)

I'm not sure if that is good or bad.

People appreciating SBB more than I thought they would.. Clap

or people NOT appreciating the brilliance of ADII as much as they should Angry

This is a tough one for me but as a man of Polish heritage I feel like I should vote for SBB over a band from the land of our frequent invaders

I am not familiar with either of these bands, so I had to do with these examples. I like both almost equally - this was a good listen -, but I choose to throw my vote over the iron curtain.

"None of us are getting any younger", Phil Collins sang 36-37 years ago, Time flies, and it is the only thing that goes faster on ageing. I remember my first room at about the time And Then There Were Three was released (seems like that happened... ten days ago Wink). I entered on the 8th, the landlady celebrated her 71st birthday on the 10th, and three days later I heard her saying "I am almost 72" LOL.
