I was just listening to La Villa Strangiato a little while ago, and thought it might be a good match on a poll with Fracture. Which one do you like better?

La Villa won the round for me last time it appeared, but I have to give it up for Fracture.

Fracture.

Two of the most complex pieces from either band and oddly enough among my very faves. I tend to go in the other direction, but on here it just works......but yeah like I said Fracture. There can be only one!

No I guess I am not.

La Villa Strangiato is an instrumental that you can sing along to.  I know that the Rush haters don't like this song because they can't stand Geddy's voice.  ConfusedWinkLOL

As of 12/10/14 P.S.T. at 7:30 a.m., you're right - it is no contest: Fracture by FRIPP!!

Interesting comparison - Fracture for me, but nobody sounds more like King Crimson than Rush on LVS. Apart from King Crimson, of course.

I respect Rush for being the musicians that they are, but I never listen to their music.  Fracture definitely wins this one; I don't think there's much of a contest here.

Can't decide. One the one hand, "Fracture" is a tour-de-force in the Crimson catalog. On the other, where else can I hear both The Ramones and Raymond Scott being quoted other than "La Villa Strangiato".
