I am not a man.  I know this because I have never driven a manual transmission, and people have told me as much.

I don't get it.  I watched it twice and I'm confused.  Is this about wife beating?

yeah - "clumsy me - I was hit by a ddor"

that beardy guy was 'the door'

other guys were the staircase (I fell down the staircase)
(I fell off my bike)

it's saying that it's regular looking guys doing this crap - not the people you'd expect.

Messages on a subject as important as this shouldn't need special prog-lyric-decoding skills to understand. The makers of this ad got so in love with their own vision and style that forgot to make it understandable for the same masses they are trying to reach with the every-man-could-be-a-wife-beating-a****le true message.

Anyway, men who do that are garbage and a big pile of it would be a good visual

Oh wow you tricked me in a most beautiful grabbing fashion, Olav. I love every single one of those men. Outstanding attention grabbing advert on a serious topic, while not portraying a victim nor any evil. This is good, serious! ClapHeartThumbs Upbig hug to you Teddy Bear's SonBig smileHug

Thumbs UpAwww You silly very adorable cute things! Let me explain, this vid is actually against women abuse but instead of showing a woman all bruised up being the victim and the man being evil. It shows that one should not stereotype men, while equally bringing the cause of abuse to the forefront. Approve

How about every day? Are there other days when women can get hit by ... bikes ... or doors (when opening them too fast)?

Most men are good, most women too. Both sexes are about equally represented with psychopaths and sociopaths, but the manner in which they play out those tendencies differ quite a bit. Women tend to be more fond of power games and mental abuse, while men often resort to violence as a means of control.

I don't have stats to back this up nor do I know the source of the claim but I very much doubt that 1 in 3 women in the world have experienced physical violence inflicted by a male known and close to them
(the inference is my own)

This was discussed some time ago in Alex's Feminism thread - it's a bad extrapolation of some fairly narrow data. The result is specious but it's a headline-grabber. What I find more surprising is how readily people will accept this kind of statistic without questioning it.

Feminism is not equal rights it's female rights, at school a girl locked my friend in a bathroom stall and wouldn't let him out and gave him a blowjob, no one cared, he cried

Depends really. Some are literally in between the sexes. I know a few.
