From the Progressive Electronic Conference we have its undisputed 4 decade champion.  Tangerine Dream!!

From the Canterbury Conference we have its undisputed 4 decade champion.  Caravan!!!

Vegas has listed Caravan as a 25 vote favorite.  Can Tangerine Dream keep it close? Not likely but we shall see!

Never cared for Caravan. Come to think about it, never cared for Tangerine Dream either, but I like their name better.

It didn't take long for me. Just a bit of thought unlike the 99% where the choice is quite obvious.

Since my love affair with Caravan really is as much about my man-lust for Richard Sinclair as  the group's music and my daydreams of him singing to me (often the phonebook which no one can sing and make one swoon as well as he) as we walk hand in hand through a rainy misty night.  I have other outlets like Hatfield and the North for that, which is equally as good (or better?) than Caravan.

TD is the only PE group to really grab me..  and grab me hard they did...so I guess I need to vote for them.

Love both but Tangerine Dream for their many hours more of essential music. Got like 4 Caravan albums and 15-16 TD.

TD, probably another loser I'm backing.  I listen to them more probably because I have more of their albums.

I have to admit I have been a bit naughty and voted for TD even though I know very little about Caravan. Tangerine Dream are just a special group for me and still putting out extremely respectable albums such as Edgar Allen Poe's Island Of The Fay and Finnegan's Wake.

Tangerine Dream for me, like both a lot, I think I listen to more TD these days, if I'm in a Canterbury mood I tend to reach for others.
