So here's a poll on the various works and collaborations of all important Yes members, in their mutual careers outside Yes. As you can see, there's plenty of choice, as almost all Yes members had prolific careers on their own. Also, I'll have to exclude all of Bill Buford's work with King Crimson, as I feel that would steal many votes (including mine).

Chris Squire's Fish Out of Water gets my vote, although Refugee, The Six Wives and ABWH are not far behind!

I do love One Of A Kind.

Fish Out Of Water will win.

From the Witchwood is one of the finest albums ever recorded.

Not sure why Dragonfly is on the list - Wakeman's contribution was limited. Why not include Just a Collection of Antiques and Curios? Wakeman was all over that album.

Six Wives is also brilliant and - heresy - I like Asia's debut.

For some reason, I'm not allowed to vote in the poll.  I'd probably give it ABWH, but Asia is a pretty close second.  Then again, I admit I have listened to only a handful of those albums (despite being a massive Yes fan), so maybe it's just as well.

Me too!  "definitely" Six Wives!

Patrick Moraz's "Story of i" is another gem!  Poor Steve Howe, I never liked "Beginnings" at all!

We were fortunate to have a flurry of nice solo albums out of Yes back then, something that the members never really were able to recreate.

It's unusual in that it's a live album of previously unreleased material (except for a much extended version of Where Is This Dream Of Your Youth).

Why isn't more of Anderson's solo work listed?  I am afraid that 'Fish' gets boring at times... And what about Alan White's under-rated 'Ramshackled'?

To be honest, I never cares that much about Ramshackled and I didn't thought it would get any vote, so I excluded it as there's only a limited number of voting options

Overall quality-wise, it has to be Squire's Fish, closely followed by "Buford"'s One Of A Kind (would love to see a Bufo Calamita vs. Rana Ridibunda poll one day)

I have given The Story of I a listen to refresh my memory, but I'm afraid today is not my Moraz day. Not vote therefore, for now.

I think that's because you haven't collected enough "points", or whatever it be that one collects by posting on the forums. Try again when you have reached 10 points or something.

1975 was a good year:

- Best Yes-related album: Chris Squire's Fish Out of Water (1975)

- Best Yes-related track: Jon Anderson & Vangelis' "So Long Ago, So Clear," from the otherwise Anderson-less Heaven and Hell album (1975): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjj3Y1tuLO4" rel="nofollow - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjj3Y1tuLO4

- Runner-up track: While there are many great ones to choose from, I have a weak spot for Steve Howe's "All's a Chord" (vocals and all! Brings a smile to my face every time :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3hMVdwJVRg" rel="nofollow - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3hMVdwJVRg

Hey, I just realized....where's Peter Banks in this list?

His Flash LPs were excellent, and post-Flash solo CDs like "Self Contained" showed some real evolution as a guitarist.  He channels Steve Vai on that last one!

Banks' last recorded tracks were on "In Extremis" by Days Between Stations, and this is an excellent collaboration that also included contributions by Rick Wakeman and Billy Sherwood.

I admit that GTR have been one of the biggest disappointments of thr 80s for me, despite of the two Steves. I was use to male a copy on tape of tge albums I purchased and this went on the back side of The Final Cut. Liking it is possible, I only find strange that it can be preferred to many of the listed albums

Fish Out of Water. Didn't that slew of "Yes related" albums come out in '75, and 'Water led the pack. Olias of Sunhillow seems to get the most mention out of all of them, but I can't seem to get into it. With Squire's offering, there was no doubt, for me, that it was an unmitigated masterpiece.

i LIKE the Steve Howe Album, but not enough to use my only vote on it.  (Not that this poll is allowing me to vote, but never mind the details.)  If i were permitted to vote, i would go for ABWH, but only because "Brother of Mine" has been stuck in my head for the past week.  Not sure that makes it the best Yes related album.

Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman, & Howe was generally weak. I store it apart from the rest of my collection because of the smell. The supporting concert was great though with Mr. Jeff Berlin on bass. If only I could have caught the rest of Bill Bruford's act.

Yeah, but Banks was a founding member.  I think he deserves special consideration over Sherwood etc.  Good call on Kaye's material, his work on Circa is excellent!
