From an email received this morning: We are very pleased to announce that this year’s tour is now in place. We’re looking forward to reviving some rarely played songs along with the new. It’s great to think about touring again – it’s what we love!! So great to meet you all, and we hope to see you, old friends and new, somewhere on the road… As you may or may not know, this year is the 10th anniversary of Mostly Autumn becoming independent and forming Mostly Autumn Records. To celebrate this we have decided to put on four special shows at the end of the year, two in the UK, one in NL and one in Belgium. These shows will include a special performance of Dressed in Voices in full, alongside some old MA gems and also a set of classic Pink Floyd to mark the enormous influence they have had on Mostly Autumn. These shows are as follows – get there early as they will be longer than normal!! Friday 13th November – Grand Opera House – York – A welcome return to this old haunt Friday 20th November – Spirit of 66 – Verviers, Belgium – as much of a special show as we can fit in this legendary venue Saturday 21st November – De Boerderij – NL – Impossible not to play a special show in this magnificent venue Sunday 13th December – Leamington Assembly – This will be the only concert in December and will include all of the above plus some Christmas merriment and more (details tbc).
