Tossing this one in for inspection by someone who can take the time. A band that blends ambient soundscapes and atmospheric laden passages with post rock textures and progressive arguably metal constructions in a manner that basically would send them scuttling into just about all the cracks between the various subdivisoons in the PA genre system. Tossing them into the open here to see if someone wants to take them somewhere rather than instigating an elongated tennis match in the genre teams.

Post Rock & Post Metal with - as you say - subtle hints of just about every other sub that has ever been created too! Doesn't seem to be quite enough true 'metal' in it overall though for the blacksmiths to take it on board, methinks (but most of my attempts at analysing any metal suggestions that get posted seem to be way off the mark these days!) - I'd probably ask Darryl to give his thoughts on it first of all tbf. Gotta find a place for it somewhere on here though - a fine album of instrumental prog indeed! Thumbs Up

I didn't know they were already suggested. Did anyone look into them?

Unlikely...I added the band to progfreak when you posted this a fortnight or so ago, but there's still no PA tab, so it looks as though it's slipped under the radar once again:  http://progfreak.com/In-Each-Hand-A-Cutlass-165113.html" rel="nofollow - http://progfreak.com/In-Each-Hand-A-Cutlass-165113.html . Feel free to drop a link to this thread in the collab zone though if you're passing that way...The band definitely belongs here imho. Smile
