last poll for the week.. whew...

last up.  Poll #16.  One vote, top 2 vote getters move on to 2nd round to face each other. Vote for the album people.. not the group. If you don't know the album, ask, google, youtube it. Lots of great music here man...

Here are the next four up!

oh what a great album.

Popol Vuh!!

that dude from Genesis who made (like Hackett) the wise choice to leave the devil (Tony Banks) and his backing band leaving them standing at the crossroads. LOL

JEFF!! I love you man...

and to wrap up today... KLAUS!!

Vegas installed the Beck and Gabriel albums as the favorites to advance to the 2nd round. Will they? We shall see!

Jeff Beck over Peter Gabriel. If PG's chosen album had been his fourth (aka "Security"), I would have probably voted for it.

Saving a vote for Popol or Klause in the unlikely event either has a chance to advance

Went for Peter here - the only album by him I know well enough to cast a vote, and I do quite like it.

Klaus would have won out if it was Timewind.

saving it for either Popol Vuh or Beck whoever might get into 2nd place I suppose.

never was sure myself between that one and Hosianna Mantra.  I'll be sitting on this for a week and hopefully my vote won't make a difference because I'd likely still not be sure which way to vote if it matters for a 2nd place spot LOL

Beerthough the forum isn't what it used to be back in the day when the sheriff (Tony)  had to clear the bodies from main street after closing time (many of his own hand haha), it was nice to see most everyone again. The heart of a forum are the people.

I had a suggestion to improve the format and it makes sense so changing this mid vote. Not that it really matters.

The winner of this poll will now get the 2nd place finisher of poll #15. 2nd place here gets the winner of poll #15.

yes it is.. and one of many from him. Smile

still holding my vote on this.  Hosianna or Blow by Blow.. love both.. and sort of hoping my vote won't matter either way LOL If tied when it comes time to vote (before I close the poll) I might just NOT vote and let it go to the tiebreaker.. a vote off...

You are not supposed to say who you voted for but I don't care. I voted for Peter Gabriel #3. Saw him on that tour. Beyond amazing. He looked like he just arrived  from space.

I'd been sitting on this one.. giving it to Hosianna Mantra because it needs it.  Could have easily gone to Blow by Blow.  2 great albums Clap

great comeback for a great album.. they were down last night.. by several votes and came back to win cleanly without need of a tiebreak. Wasn't much movement at all in any of the other polls.  Must have been a number, like mine, of undecided or simply being held to last moment.
