After much Achillean angsting, I've decided to give it to Perils, since they are the underdog; everybody already knows how much of a crowning achievement of avant-prog In Extremis is. -------------

Same here  ! I also have to admit I find Perils somewhat more enjoyable. Thinking Plague are undeniably great, but their music demands a lot from the listener. |
