Spoon for me!!
(The Danish word for spoon is ske)

I really dig the Paatos debut as well, but as I've mentioned a couple of times before, it only goes downhill after the orgasmic opener Sensor. Damn that one gives me chills!!

Listened to Timeloss today & quite enjoyed it. Ske was my album of the year in 2011, it gets the vote.

It would be interesting to compare votes from last round to this. How would I feel about Paatoss e.g. if I was listening at one in the morning having had the odd tipple and puff rather than in the middle of day when I am what for me passes as bright eyed and bushy tailed ?

Mickey .... be a good chap and create a searchable data base would you ? Tongue

Anywho, right now I have to go with Ske.

Paatos, Timeloss.

Voted for neither of them in their respective earlier polls.
Now I vote for A Thousand Islands, sorry... A Thousand Autumns.
Clear winner for me, couldn't get into Paatos this time.

or the newly beloved.. oh which neither of these were.  So refresher listens on tap.

Starting with Ske

that is a tough one...  liked both much more on refresher listens... Quits was my favorite from either album.. yet I thought the Ske album more to my particular tastes these days. More adventurous...Less flakey and derivative as Mindloss tended to be, especially between the two bookend tracks.

Ske needs the vote.. so Ske it is.

Good man

For the first round I noted all my votes in a spreadsheet, to get to know where my taste was going these days. Not purely symphonic, RPI, Canterbury, crossover and neo anymore, which means my tastes have broadened, which is of course a good thing.

Ske, but would be happy for either to go through.

Wow. Now that sir is what I call organised ..... never got the hang of it myself, anarchic rabble being more  my thing, but I wish I had thought of that.

Well, I'm mister organizer alright . But here especially, mr. List Man, a listomaniac, although others go much farther than I do.

A patriotic (and strategic) last-minute vote for Ske, though the Paatos album is not at all bad.
