Hi. One great Progressive Rock from Germany. Their music is soft and mellow and like Anthony Philips music (IMO).

A present Progressive rock band from Germany, BREEZE was founded in the year 2000 in Hannover, by Hansi ARNOLD (Drums & vocals) and Ottfried MIETZKE (Guitar, bass & keyboards). Intended as a recording project, this German band released three albums: "Tales" in 2006, "Rain" three years later, and "Strangers" in 2012. The duet also performed live with several line-ups between this period. The music of BREEZE is quite diverse, ranging from soft ballads to orchestral arrangements, with a special taste for epic compositions. Published by the Musea label in the year 2015, "The King Of The Forest" reveals itself as an excellent fantasy concept-album. Let yourself be carried away by a fresh BREEZE !

Hi.
I forgot to write sub genre in topic title and I only wrote band name. Are you check this post or I must creat another topic? IMO Breeze is a Symphonic Prog band.

You can edit the title of the initial post I believe (post options - edit post) and then add your genre of choice.

I don't believe Symphonic at all

This is what I replied in the Symphonic thread

Crossover or Neo

Modern sound, mainstream influences, I don't see them in Symphonic, more in Crossover

Even when The Dancers and Northern Nights (Among others) shout Neo Prog.

The Wings of Darkness and The Victory sound Like Pendragon (Well, the Vocalist is a Barret Wannabe)

Symphonic they aren't, the rest is for the teams to decide

Iván

If my other three teammates vote for Symphonic, I COULD change the vote, but for the moment no

Thanks Ivan. I don't want to discuss about genre because I'm sure you and your team are specialists and this is your job (not mine!). IMO Breeze is Progressive Rock band (I don't talk about GOOD or BAD) and their music is Symphonic or Neo Prog in my book.

We already checked it (14 hours after notified, must be a record), but Breeze has two votes for Neo (Louis and me).

Sounds pretty much as Pendragon and Collage.

I will notify the Neo Team ASAP to avoid delay.

Iván

PS: Bhikkhu also voted Neo

Thanks and Appreciated. I'm not one of band's member or part of any bands and honestly I love Progressive Rock music and each of my suggestions are my Honest Opinion about them.
In these days I saw some fights and hard discuss about genres or accept in PA and when they can't forced you (all of teams members) to accept them and opinions  ,then they try to attack to you and PA and forget their first posts and suggestions!!
I think I know why but I don't talk about that . I afraid to make "Misunderstanding" because of my English. Thanks again.

Hi,I´m Ottfried from BREEZE.

"THE KING OF THE FOREST" is our forth album and our music always has been very variable.Neo Prog/Symphonic Rock or even Pop or Classical Composers:We have a lot of influences ad therefore probably different styles...

We`re now working at our fifth album, titled "THE FORTH DIMENSION"(release probably spring 2016),which will contain elements of classical music and on the other side modern metal and complexe rhythm structures...
For more information about BREEZE and my other present projects "RA" and "YARGOS" you can ask me....
or go to   www.musicbreeze.jimdo.com

All the best

Hi Ottfried and welcome to PA forum.
I listened "THE KING OF THE FOREST" and IMO this album is Progressive Rock album. Its Symphonic/Neo Prog in my ears but PA teams decide about sub genres. I really like to listen to other BREEZE albums. Thanks.
