People are inherently evil. Though I don't think people in general are inherently "evil." I think that the majority of people want to do good things for others and often fall short of that goal, which is human as well and I can't hate on them for falling short of perfection. I know I fall short of perfection all the time.

But... there are a percentage of people that are legit "evil." Most of these people are the ones that tell me that there is no good or evil, but I think evil is real, especially in the definition of the word that means "Intending to harm"

People need leaders is the only one that's true, and it's not depressing.

1.  Own or share what? The answer will differ depending on the subject.
2.  Put ten people in a room and they will stand there and stare at each other until someone finally speaks up and says "Okay guys, let's do something about this".
3.  Remove all laws, restrictions and repercussions and you will see evil like you never imagined.
4.  If you and I and a member of my family are on a sinking boat I hope you're a good swimmer.

None of these depress me because life was never meant to be easy or perfect.
Life was meant to challenge you and test you every day.
That's what makes you a stronger person.

That people prefer to share rather than own bothers me quite a bit. That people care ultimately only for their biological family is false. My cat and I are not biologically related.

The people who are inherently evil or who are psychopaths, if you like.

In my case, it would definitely depend on which member of my family you're talking about.

I don't find them necessarily depressing... or factual for that matter.

None of these statements are true

These ideas have been concocted up by the media to sell newspapers (or get you to watch the evening or all day news).

You get bonus points for putting the word facts in quotation marks.
