Even back then it seems people were dissing the quality of the bigger artists output, though I think most would argue Pink Floyd doesn't deserve to be here, not sure what Mike Oldfield had just released. Wonder how many proggers were angry at this back then :D

I can't say I remember the ad but why would I be angry about it? It's a joke based on a beer advert of the time.

I think the tag "refreshes the parts other rock bands fail to reach" sums it up well and wasn't intended to denigrate Pink Floyd and the others.  And I couldn't agree with the sentiment more.  Clap
