Almost forgot...if you'd like your "music hall" to be very dark and a cross between vaudeville and a black and white horror film another option would be Devil Doll

Quartermass! Haven't seen that LP in yonks! Peter Gabriel's "Excuse Me" The Kinks were my favorite for incorporating dance hall, but they're not very proggy at all. ------------- I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there..... |

I'm trying to understand that description "music hall prog" based on the bands set out as examples. There's a lot of the Sparks that I've really enjoyed. 10cc is alright, but I'm not sure if Trick of the tail is a Band or the Genesis album. Perhaps this refers to the type of venues they were playing at a point in time. ------------- Thank you for supporting independently produced music |
