Kassiopeia was founded in 2008 in Krefeld (Germany) as a musical project fueled by lyrics and songs written by Lina Farah. In addition to Lina, the band consists of the two brothers, Till Menzer (drums & percussion) and Malte Menzer (bass & sound) and Sebastian Roettger (guitar & synth). The focus of most pieces is Lina's unique voice, which is at times anxious and frail but can also be angry and fierce, leading the songs through the band’s daring arrangements. Lina's songs are carried by sensitive percussions, the graceful guitar, accompanied by the hypnotic hum of the piano. The Orient merges with the Occident and soul and progressive rock music entwine while time loses all meaning. We usually intend Art Rock as RIO/Avant. If this where the band "belongs" I'm sorry to say that currently our team is unable to make evaluation because of members shortage.
