Lucid Planet are a progressive, psychedelic rock band from Melbourne, Australia. For fans of Tool, Karnivool, Pink Floyd, Rishloo.
With a sound ranging from intense heavy rock to clean delay driven psychedelic soundscapes and everything in between. We have been hitting up the Melbourne alternative scene with a debut album coming soon. All of our music will be available on a 'pay what you want' basis. Meaning that you decide how much you pay, based on how much the music is worth to you, as we believe in having our Art and Music being easily accessible to anyone, anywhere and having our message out there.

Oh dear...Another suggestion with no sub genre in the topic title. Disapprove And not surprisingly it was missed.

This has been described as a band that combine tribal, middle eastern, psychedelic and experimental genres to make a hybrid of what seems to be Tool and Pink Floyd.

The band members also have another project called  https://www.facebook.com/tratasband/" rel="nofollow - TrätaS , and their full-length debut album and visuals show called 'The Strangest of all Guests is at the Door' can be heard at  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgvmGZtyw2Q" rel="nofollow - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgvmGZtyw2Q . The album can also be downloaded via their website:  http://www.tratasband.com/" rel="nofollow - http://www.tratasband.com/ .

This latter project is indeed very psychedelic in nature, and quite different to the Lucid Planet Material, which may well be worth a shot in one of the metal subs (despite also being quite psychedelic in nature). The Lucid Planet album can be obtained via  http://lucidplanetband.net/" rel="nofollow - http://lucidplanetband.net/ .

I believe both projects are worthy of inclusion in the archives, so I'll bump the topic here now and see what transpires... Smile
