Band description: Aoria is a short-lived, yet ambitious musical project between three influential metalminds of the Nordic music community (Erik Nilsson of Kausal, Robin Bergh of October tide and Niklas Sandin of Katatonia), who joined forces in 2012 for a one-off project, eventually resulting in a highly anticipated album, The constant - and although never growing beyond being a side project, Aoria has left its fans with an earthshaking album of powerful metal soundscapes.

It looks as though they were suggested 3 or 4 years ago for Post Metal and were rejected.  I have placed your suggestion with the prog metal team, but since they were rejected by another team and not forwarded as a suggestion to the Prog Metal team I don't think that they will be accepted without a Herculean act of feat.

I can perhaps see why they were rejected by the post rock team, a difficult one between progressive/post metal and simply atmospheric rock/metal.

I will take this to the team to have a listen.

Thanks guys, all clear!

I would debate though that it does not belong here, I think there are other bands with similar "heavity" here, but will be happy to see it on the prog metal site also if it better fits there

Well, it is either post rock (rejected in that team) or post metal - we will have a listen regarding the latter
