hey guys,

Hope my name doesn't offend, it actually originated as a name for a hobbit character for a lord of the rings mmo I used to play, so think whimsical rather then reading too into it. I'll get rid of a 't' if necessary.

As for bands i like, you'll have to check out my up and coming reviews. I've got a lot of classics i still need to get to while i keep up with the modern releases. I've started to write up some music reviews during slow periods at work, I'm a chemist (not as cool as it sounds). By far the best part at work is that I'm aloud to crank jams throughout the lab and make co-workers uncomfortable Tongue. My reviews are currently far from scholarly, but I intend to PROGress and get better with time.

I've been playing drums for about 9 years now, self taught meaning I know nothing, but I have fun. My ear tends to focus on percussion when I listen to music so I'm a sucker for anything with quality chop, grooves and syncopation.

Currently I'm enjoying the new iamthemorning album Lighthouse, Molok by Gazpacho, Komara's self titled debut (my avatar).

hahaha, thanks for the welcome everyone. ASL is old internet slang for - age/sex/location? It's meant to be funny.

I usually link videos semi manually. Write [TUBE]______[ /TUBE] witht the underscores being everything from the Youtube link AFTER the = sign. And no space in the last set of []s
