^ I came here to say exactly that. The ratings are effectively determined by PA's members. No under-the-table secret handshake deals going down here or anything of that sort. Spyglass should be 4 star minimum ------------- All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock. |

One might say that the problem with ratings is that it's damned near impossible to take taste out of the equation. There are albums I dislike that I still think 4 stars worthy in a more objective sense (albums of the, I may hate it, and you might very well hate it too, but it's still essential to your collection even if just as a coffee coaster).  It's a cool, dynamic album, if a bit muzaky at times (hey, I love music people call muzak). ------------- Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me. |
