Five songs that are frequently cited as weak links, masterpiece-ruiners, utter crap, etc.

Pick which one you like the best.

Pigs on the Wings is good.

Providence on the other hand makes my ears bleed.

We Have Heaven is one of the best tracks on the album :/

Pigs on the Wing is superb in its context, I think, and gets my vote. Great to have those two parts bookend the album (hardly a weak link, it helps tie the whole thing together for me).

We Have Heaven I really like. It plays a wonderful role in Fragile for me. After hearing it South Side of the Sky is that much more powerful (provides great contrast). A lot of albums where some call certain tracks filler or nonsense would be lessened by removing such tracks.

Have always liked We Have Heaven so it gets my vote.  As far as Providence goes, there were a few better improvs on that tour (like The Golden Walnut) that would have been a better choice Wink

To me, We Have Heaven is not junk, it's a core track added on the album to display Anderson's singing skills and the kind of spirit that moved Yes at the time.

I don't think any of these are bad tracks at all; several represent sides of the bands that we don't often hear and they set off the more typical tracks well.  My vote went to Aristillus, which provides a punchy intro to my favorite Camel album.  I note that many of these are concise and short - just the opposite of the stereotypical progger's favorite tracks.

I'm scratching my head on that one. Never heard the song referred to in the negative.

I appreciate the experimentation with atonal music in Providence. It's very hard to follow, but as the piece goes on, it develops and gets more character - which is very well done IMO. Ultimately you could say: sophisticated composition in a different way.

We Have Heaven and More Fool Me are considered weak tracks? I never thought of them as such.

More Fool Me is ok but out of place and I guess I think Selling England... would be a better album without it. The rest I like and wasn't aware they were considered weak links.

Providence. It may seem weak next to some of the other genius on Red, but it really isn't.
